The ham radio contest team at K1BBS was on fire in the 2014 School Club Roundup.  During the week of February 10-14, 26 participants activated K1BBS for 24 hours … making 859 contacts (a K1BBS record) and scoring 237,084 points (another K1BBS record).  BBA’s contest team put in an amazing performance on a worldwide stage. BBA Mountain Campus Awarded LEED Platinum Certification
Burr and Burton Academy’s Mountain Campus in Peru was awarded the prestigious Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum certification, recognizing best-in-class building strategies and practices, awarded by the U.S. Green Building Council. To receive LEED certification, building projects must satisfy rigorous prerequisites and earn points to achieve different levels of certification.
