  • BBA Senior Spends Week in Washington, D.C. at U.S. Senate Youth Program

    BBA senior and Student Council president, Chris Alfano recently returned from Washington, D.C. where he was one of two students chosen to represent Vermont at the 62nd annual United States Senate Youth Program. The program was a weeklong experience in Washington, D.C., where he met with some of the top officials in the U.S. federal government.

    BBA theater grads are acting and writing plays on the American stage.

    Erin Norton a BBA Alum Class of 2021, and a Creative Writing Student at Emerson College Class of 2025 is excited to share that an original play of theirs will be produced as a full-scale production in the springtime at Emerson College.  She is thankful that at BBA she was able to follow her passion and appreciates being able to explore and find her passion for acting a playwriting through all that BBA offers.

    Riley Vogel a BBA Alum Class of 2021, and Alum of Roosevelt University '22 with a BFA in Musical Theater is proud to be appearing as Cosmo Brown in Singin' In The Rain at the Waterfront Playhouse in Key West, FLA. Just 6 weeks after graduating from BBA, Riley appeared in A Chorus Line as Larry produced by the Bucks County Center for the Performing Arts in Doylestown, PA. With his home base in Chicago, Riley has been working constantly since his graduation in 2022 throughout the United States.

  • Honoring the Past: Former Headmaster Robert Kennedy Passes Away at 78

    Earlier this month, former Headmaster Robert Kennedy passed away at age 78. Kennedy spent 15 years as the Headmaster of Burr and Burton from 1978-1993. During his tenure, Kennedy stewarded Burr and Burton through several fundraising campaigns and academic improvements. He was known to his students as an avid fisherman and outdoorsman.
