Web Site Overview
Over the past few months we have been rebuilding our entire web site. The basic setup of the site is now complete, but the site is really more of an evolving presentation of programs and events at BBA. Throughout the school year we will be updating content as we strive to make our web site as helpful and informative as possible.
Some highlights of the new web site:
* The web site is best viewed in 1024 x 768 or higher resolution.
* Home Page:
News and event updates have been added to the home page. Click on a story clip to read an individual entry or on 'News and Event Updates' to read a chronology of all published stories. Daily Announcements and Photo Albums are also llinked from the home page.
* Resources for parents and alumni have been routed to respective 'centers' on this new site. These centers will provide a comprehensive listing of resources such as calendars, forms, and information on upcoming events.
* The 'Intranet' page, called BBANet, provides resources (forms, manuals, directories) for students and adults at BBA and is accessible by selecting 'BBANet' from the 'On Campus' or the 'Quick Links' menu.
More on the'Daily Announcements' blog: The blog (web log) is a streamlined way to view important updates in the BBA community. The blog contains daily announcements, a daily lunch menu, athletic practice and event updates, as well as any news on school cancellations and weather related postings. Over the coming years we will be adding new blog features to our web site.
One of the many features of blogs is that the information within them can be syndicated (published). The BBA Daily Announcements are syndicated and it is possible to subscribe and bring the information within the page to your desktop or mobile device. So, rather than having to visit the page to see if new updates have been posted they are delivered to you. The following is the ATOM feed address for subscription:

We are also syndicating announcements via feedburner at: http://feeds.feedburner.com/BurrAndBurtonAcademy
We have posted some feed information that may prove helpful to bring the announcements to your desktop and to help relieve some of the confusion. Additional information on this technology and subscriptions can also be found at at FeedBurner or at Blogger.com.
Subscription buttons have also been added on the right side to the daily announcements page for your convenience as well.
