Welcome to the International Student Program at Burr and Burton Academy

My name is Andrea Thulin. As director of the program dedicated to students from all over the world, it is my great pleasure to introduce you to this wonderful American school.

I was born in Santiago, Chile, but have lived in Vermont for the past twenty years. Since I also come from another country, I understand how it feels to live in a different culture and experience all the excitement as well as difficulties of adjusting to a new life and learning a second language. It is my job to help our overseas students enjoy their education at Burr and Burton. I also plan many different activities throughout the year that help them feel at home.
