Advancement: The Campaign for Burr and Burton

Through the generosity of our donors, we have made remarkable improvements to our campus in the past few years. The Board of Trustees had the vision and confidence to undertake a daunting capital campaign to execute the strategic plan needed to meet the needs of a growing enrollment. This included the Rowland Center, completed in the fall of 2004, improvements and additions made to the original Seminary Building, and the new gym addition completed in January 2006.  Two new playing fields have also been added to the campus and renovations to the Riley Center for the Arts created new music classrooms and a dance studio. 

Our donors have been truly amazing in their support of this vision for the future of Burr and Burton Academy. We could not have done this without the $14.7 million raised through private individual donations, gifts from local companies, and the support of several foundations. 

We’re not done yet – there is a still an opportunity to give to the Campaign for Burr and Burton.  We have a number of naming opportunities still available for the new buildings and we continue to work toward our $5 million goal for the school's endowment fund.
