Burr and Burton Academy’s Mountain Campus, located in Peru, Vermont, adjacent to the Green Mountain National Forest, encompasses 100 acres of wilderness rich with diverse ecosystems.
It is the setting for the Mountain Semester, an innovative, rigorous, one-semester academic program that will change the way students experience their education, help them establish a stronger, more tangible connection to the environment, and prepare them to be their own lifelong teachers.
