College Accepatances  Burr and Burton graduates enroll in over 80 different colleges each year. In the last five years, graduates have been accepted at over 500 colleges and universities including: Castleton State College Colorado State University, Cornell University, Dartmouth College, Duke University, Harvard University, Hobart and William Smith Colleges, Johns Hopkins University, Middlebury College, Montana State University, New York University, Rennselaer Polytechnic Institute, Savannah College of Art and Design, Siena College, University of Chicago, University of Pennsylvania, University of Vermont, Vermont Technical College, Williams College, Yale University

Highlights

The Performing Arts Department offers over a dozen major performance opportunities throughout the year in addition to a range of classes that emphasize the creative process.

 Over 50 students per year participate in the Field Study program, developing valuable practical skills in a real-life, real-world setting.

Students currently serve in 115 leadership positions throughout the schools: as mentors to freshmen, Service Learning leaders, student ambassadors, in student government, on town planning boards, and on our student policy advisory board.

The Jonathan Levin Center for Media Arts & Sciences is home to the satellite studio of Vermont Public Radio.
