Gearing Up for Reunion 2011!

Burr and Burton Reunion for Classes ending in 1 and 6

Friday, June 10, Saturday, June 11, and Sunday June 12, 2010

Mark your calendar for a weekend of reconnecting with classmates, camaraderie, and fun when Burr and Burton alums from all classes return to the Hill. All alumni are welcome.

Friday includes Commencement at 5:30 pm where the 50th Reunion Class leads the 2011 graduating class onto Pettibone Field. Right after the commencement exercises conclude, there will be a reception for the class of ’61 and their spouses in the Tuttle library.

On Saturday, join us for the Alumni Awards Ceremony at 5 pm in the Riley Center for the Arts, followed by the Reunion Dinner at 6 pm, along with music and dancing in the E.H. Henry Physical Education Center.

Enjoy a weekend in the Manchester area with the Alumni Golf Tournament, Manchester Car Show, Southern Vermont Arts Center, Hildene, the American Museum of Fly Fishing, Equinox Preserve, fine restaurants and taverns, extensive shopping including the Orvis flagship store in Manchester and the Vermont Country Store in nearby Weston—all in the midst of Vermont’s natural beauty.

A Reunion Weekend program, schedule and registration form will be mailed to you in late March 2011. For additional information contact Nancy Brown, advancement coordinator, at Burr and Burton at 802.549.8110 or by e-mail at nbrown@burrburton.org.

Please let us know if you would like to help with outreach to your classmates about Reunion.
