Welcome to the land of possibilities! Choosing a college is an opportunity for you to make a move in a new direction or to travel further down the road in an area that already excites you. Whatever itinerary you choose, we’re here to provide you with the roadmap and other advice for your trip.

The aim of Burr and Burton’s college counseling program is to help you make the right college decision for you and your family. It’s important to realize that what is “best” for you probably isn’t the same “best” for your closest friend. Every student has individual interests, desires, and needs. We hope this guide provides you with some basic information about the various issues and procedures involved in applying to college.

It is meant to get you started and to serve as a reference. The Junior College Planning Calendar can prove helpful as your begin your college search.
