Bulldogs United

The Bulldogs are back, and the first few days have been filled with community-building activities promoting unity and Bulldog spirit.

This year’s school theme, Bulldogs United, is meant to build upon last year’s theme, Bulldogs Do Their Part, which emphasized each individual’s responsibility to one another.  With Bulldogs United, the group is back together, and as Headmaster Tashjian said in the September Bullhorn, we are “one school, one community, united by our common goals, united even in our differences.”

Last week, 9th Grade Orientation, led by upperclass student mentors, welcomed the class of 2025 to campus.  Students participated in outdoor activities before the traditional welcome handshake (or elbow bump) with the Headmaster and Associate Head of School.

This week, campus bustled with college workshops, summer reading discussions, and a parent welcome meeting.  Though our masked community reminds us that the dangers of Covid have not passed, the Bulldogs are together and united--and it feels pretty special.
