Second time, twice as fine

We were very pleased with our team's ability to put the things we practiced into play today - specifically, we worked on ways to get around Rutland's defense in the circle. We were able to draw a lot of offensive penalty corners (12) and took advantage of those opportunities to score.
Alex Faucher was instrumental in moving the ball into the offensive circle. Katie Crabtree played a stellar game, switching fields consistently and Bailey Gilliam directed our defensive unit like clockwork. Hope Schlageter came into the game and added a spark to the forward line, moving to the ball and playing with intensity.

Our record is now 5-2. We play on Friday, Sept 30 at Hartford at 4:00.
