BBA and Wirtemberg Gymnasium Celebrate 40th Year of Cultural Exchange
On September 22nd, BBA welcomed 25 students and three faculty members from Wirtemberg Gymnasium to mark the start of the 40th exchange with our sister school in Stuttgart, Germany.
The German students experienced many highlights of Burr and Burton and our local area, including Homecoming, our on-campus ropes course, visits to the Mountain Campus and Farm and Food Studies, a trip to the Peru Fair, apple picking and hiking through the Green Mountains.
Visiting classes, German students shared information about their school and city in Germany, details about education and athletics in Germany, and what they love to do in their free time.
The visit to Burr and Burton was a wonderful success, and BBA student are looking forward to traveling to Wirtemberg Gymnasium in June/July of 2023.
