Based on the classic plays of ancient Roman playwright Plautus, the musical considered Broadway’s greatest farce was originally produced by Harold Prince on Broadway and features a book by Burt Shevelove, Larry Gelbart, and a score by Stephen Sondheim. Sondheim's joyous, musical romp through Rome has desperate lovers, scheming neighbors, and secrets behind every toga. Don’t miss out on this fast-paced, light, witty, irreverent musical that takes comedy back to its roots, combining 2000-year-old comedies, with the infectious energy of classic vaudeville. This unforgettable, hysterical musical allows a terrific ensemble of comedic actors to shine – "something for everyone, a comedy tonight!”

A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum is presented through a special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI. www.mtishows.com
