We played a solid game, but CVU is simply an excellent team with a lot of skilled players and a very strong defense. We had a great game from Lola Herzog and Tatum Sands, as they worked relentlessly to shut down the scoring threats on CVU's left attack. Arden Wojtach supplied a spark to the offense in the second half, cutting to every ball, but we still were not able to get shots on goal.
Both goalies, Hannah Callen and Mac Thuermer, had great games, particularly in the second half with aggressive play to clear the ball out of our defensive circle.
The whole team was complimented by the opposing coach for their resilience and determination right up to the end of the game!
