11th Annual Gawlik Awards

Purchase tickets at BBAtickets.com.  The Gawlik Awards are BBA’s answer to the Oscars, celebrating achievement in the Cinematography program, and honoring the memory of Brian Gawlik, whose creativity and talent formed the foundation of filmmaking education at Burr and Burton.

Each year, nominated students walk the red carpet, and then take their seats for the ceremony, hosted by BBA faculty members Bill Muench, Jim Raposa, and Rob Hunter. The show also features live performances from the BBA Performing Arts Department, and guest appearances from nationally recognized artists.

Award categories include: Commercials, Public Service Announcements, Sketch Comedy, TV Show Openings, Visual Storytelling, Music Film, Horror and Best Film.
