Juliette Britton '89

Juliette successfully purchased and refurbished J.J. Hapgood General Store and Eatery in Peru in 2013, stewarding the space back to its original purpose as a beloved grocery store, eatery, and community gathering space.  She successfully operated it for 10 years before selling the store, passing it on to new custodians who are successfully running it today.

Now based in Manchester, Juliette continues to bring her entrepreneurial and community-minded spirit to her community. She serves on the Development Committee of the Weston Theater Company and actively volunteers her culinary skills to Grateful Hearts of Manchester, a local organization dedicated to addressing food insecurity and supporting neighbors in need. She also contributes her time to several other local committees, reflecting her ongoing commitment to building strong, connected communities. Juliette is also the proud parent of three current BBA students.
