Uneven game showing lots of promise

The team's transition to a 4-2-3-1 formation received its first trial -- by fire in this case -- against Northern Power Essex.  There were times when BBA was able to penetrate into the Hornet box but chances were few and far between.  The game settled into a midfield battle after the Bulldogs surrended a goal in the 10th minute. Center backs Duncan Chamberlain and Luke Lehmann anchored a stingy defense. River DeFelice was a constant threat from his #9 position. The game was of enormous help in helping the coaching staff make adjustments against a quality team.

In the second game BBA again surrended an early goal, but quickly rebounded to a 4-1 win over Northfield/ Williamsville.  Senior winger Will Fox scored 2 goals and had two assists. Seniors Andrew Toussaint and Liam Day (Goalie!) also scored in a contest where all 20 players saw plenty of playing time.
