Bulldogs prevail in dogfight

BBA 1- Woodstock 0 in Manchester Saturday morning on Taylor Field. Goal from captain Will Fox assisted by captain Duncan Chamberlain in the 38th minute was enough to seal the win. The goal originated from a long throw from senior forward River DeFelice. Wasp goalkeeper Stephen Bianchi recorded 12 saves and kept the game close.  Bulldog Keeper senior Liam Day recorded 6 saves. Coach Mull commended the play of midfielder Walker Brown who played the entire game and organized the BBA attack. Forwards Jayden Bloom and River DeFelice also provided constant threats from the wings. The BBA bench -- Elijah Samuelson, Mal Rukat, Jake Giering, Johnny Miceli, Phoenix Heleba, Max Hasaj, Devin Deets, and Madox Matthews also contributed valuable minutes. BBA goes to 2-1 with consecutive shutouts and faces Brattleboro in the 51st John James Tournament in Bennington on Thursday at 5:00 pm
