CVU Continues to Dominate

While BBA played tough defense and held CVU to two goals in the first half, their efforts to notch a goal by pushing up more forwards led to more space for the CVU forwards to exploit on the 78 yard wide field and the Bulldogs conceded four more goals in the second half. Senior keeper Liam Day earned kudos from the coaches for another strong performance. Junior Walker Brown held his own at right back and Declan Sullivan came off the bench to shore up the defense on the left side. While the score was the same as the first game of the season against CVU, the performance of the Bulldogs was significantly better. CVU ended the season undefeated as they triumphed over Mt. Mansfield 3-0 in the state finals. At the time they beat BBA, they were ranked 7th in New England.
