Offense Clicks, Defense Sticks

The Bulldogs powered 25 shots at the Colonels last night and three struck paydirt courtesy of two from Alberto de Pablo and a scrum goal from Captaiin Nick Plants.  de Pablo was assisted by a beautiful cut back pass from the endline from winger Oscar Loomis.  de Pablo's first goal was a screamer from 40 yards out over the keeper's head.  The midfield let by Ben Stewardt and Aiden Francomb controlled the midfield and limited Brattleboro to only a few scoring chances.  The back line of Plants, Greene, and Eisenman was solid and set the plate all night.  The Bulldogs take a 1-0-1 league record to MAU Friday night in a replay of the James final.
