Science Olympiad Team finishes first place in Albany

11 BBA students competed in Albany against 35 teams from across New York State this past weekend. The team earned two medals, including our first-ever first-place finish at this tournament.
Ella Kitts and Lola Randall dominated Write It, Do It (FIRST PLACE!), while Chris Madsen and Betsy Kirkpatrick earned a fourth-place medal in Designer Genes by completing the event in under 30 minutes. Additional top-10 finishes came from Miles Vernon and Lincoln Lazarus in Circuit Lab, Jon Vernon and Dhruv Patel in Astronomy, and Lincoln Lazarus and Rowan LeBlanc in Write It, Do It. Overall, the team demonstrated exceptional teamwork and sportsmanship. With many teammates unavailable, students stepped into new events and supported one another with flexibility and determination.
