Science Olympiad has success at Brown University

BBA's Science Olympiad traveled to Brown University this past weekend for the Brown University Science Olympiad Invitational.
Known for its rigorous environment, the Brown Invitational draws elite teams from across the region. Our students went head-to-head with some of the most competitive programs in the country, tackling complex challenges in biology, chemistry, physics, and engineering.

Overall, BBA finished 17th out of 58 teams—a phenomenal showing at such a prestigious venue. Of the 22 events in which we competed, BBA placed in the top 50% of all teams, with many results landing in the top 25%. We would like to highlight several standout performances:
  • Engineering CAD: Miles Vernon and Lincoln Lazarus took home 1st Place in a resounding win!
  • Chemistry Lab: 9th Place
  • Electric Vehicle: 10th Place
The team isn't resting on its laurels, however. This weekend, we are headed to Dartmouth College for another round of competition. This will be our final invitational before the state competition in April, and we have our eyes trained on an even stronger performance.

Please join us in congratulating these students on their hard work and success!
