Summer Reading Program

All students in grades 9-12 participate in BBA's Summer Reading Program. More details can be found at go.burrburton.org/summerreading.
The purpose of BBA’s Summer Reading program is to nurture a love of reading and build community within the school. All students in grades 9-12 will choose a book from the 2026 Summer Reading List to read over the summer. This list was created with suggestions from faculty and students. When school starts in the fall, there is a designated "Summer Reading Discussion Time" when all students and faculty meet in groups to discuss their book.

Books are available for students to borrow from BBA’s library before the summer break, and at the Manchester Community Library over the summer. All BBA students can get an MCL library card and have access to these books. Books can also be found in other public libraries in the area and at Northshire Bookstore. Digital ebooks and audiobooks are available in the Sora Reading App. The list and more details can be found at go.burrburton.org/summerreading
