Lead Testing Notification

Dear Families and Employees: Vermont requires school water systems to be tested and that they are at 4 PPB or less which is more stringent than the federal level which is at 15 PPB. All water fountains and sinks on campus used for drinking water are below the state testing requirements.  Several faucets on campus slightly exceeded the state lead testing requirement and notices have been placed at these locations that they are for handwashing only.
We are working with our state drinking water compliance analyst to replace faucets or valves that tested above the action level so they are below the state limits.
