Piece for Peace Project

Several students in the Foundations of Visual Art and Advanced Studio classes have voluntarily participated in a global initiative to create a "Piece for Peace."
The non-profit organization City Arts of New York City has organized an opportunity for students from around the world to create a visual representation of what "Peace" means to them in a 6" x 6" board. The results are incredibly beautiful and represent their ideas as they reflect on a local, global, and personal level.
The images have been sent to City Arts and will be included in their online exhibition soon. Each piece is accompanied by an artist statement to further enhance students' perspectives on the theme of Peace. Please check out our bba.visualarts Instagram page to see more of the outstanding entries from BBA.
