After graduating from BBA in 2001, Andy went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in neuroscience from St. Lawrence University, and his medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine. Dr. Boyer is a Radiologist at Rutland Regional Medical Center. Before taking on the role of President of the Alumni Association in 2021, he served on the BBA Alumni Association Executive Board for two years, helping to grow alumni participation and engagement.

Before moving back to Vermont, Andy was a private practice radiologist at Mid-Columbia Medical Center in The Dalles, Oregon. During his time in Oregon, he also served as the Director of Mammography and Medical Director for the Department of Diagnostic Imaging. Boyer is a member of the Board of Directors for One World Children’s Fund and previously was a board member and the Vice President of Healthcare Sustainability and Relief Effort, which was founded in the wake of Covid-19 to assist small healthcare organizations. He continues to serve on their Advisory Council.

Boyer lives with his wife, Dr. Ananda Boyer, and their son, Bodhi, in Rutland.
