BBA Senior Weighs in on Civics Education
Burr and Burton senior Chris Alfano recently joined Vermont State Senator Brian Campion and Secretary of State Sarah Copeland on GNAT's News Project to weigh in on civics education. Alfano shares his motivation for co-creating a new app called Civicly, which engages people of all ages in learning about civics.
In the interview, Alfano shares a bit of context: "What is powerful about civics is that connection between was was established in 18th century literature and what it means for today--how you can use the rights that were granted to you through the constitution and Bill of Rights and enact change and really make a difference in society."
