Tough loss to Hartford
This was a really fast-paced game. Hartford is a well-skilled team, with great passing. We played much better against them after the first quarter, once we settled into the game.
We had particularly great games from Bailey Gilliam and Ava Stauss on defense, along with Bea Thompson, Maeven Virgilio and Giana Fiske. Behind the D, Marley Clark and Emily Abbott came up with some big saves.
Mai-Liis Edwards, Kaelin Downey, Madi King and Shelly Clark played their hearts out in the midfield. Samantha Cocheo and Kate Andres had their best games yet on offense. Hope Schlageter, Julianna Kruczala and Piper Morgan all played great field hockey today, we well.
