Honoring the Past: Former Headmaster Robert Kennedy Passes Away at 78
Mr. Kennedy spent 15 years as the Headmaster of Burr and Burton from 1978-1993. During his tenure, Mr. Kennedy stewarded Burr and Burton through several fundraising campaigns and academic improvements. He was known to his students as an avid fisherman and outdoorsman. The 1993 yearbook dedication wished him well upon his retirement from Burr and Burton saying, “We wish you success in your future endeavors - time for your family, friends, and your pursuit of ‘The Big One.’”
